House Members Request Speaker Call House into Regular Session to Consider Senate Bill 1

HARRISBURG – In an effort to advance Senate Bill 1, Reps. Ryan Mackenzie (R-Lehigh) and Milou Mackenzie (R-Lehigh/Montgomery/Northampton) today sent a letter to Speaker of the House Mark Rozzi (D-Berks) making an official request to immediately call the House of Representatives into regular session to consider the legislation. The letter was also signed by 20 other House members.

Mackenzie to Offer Satellite Office Hours in Washington Township

Ryan Mackenzie (R-Lehigh) today announced his satellite office has been relocated to the Heidelberg Township Municipal Building. The office was formerly located at Topton Borough Hall.

House Government Oversight Committee to Investigate Reports of ‘Ghost’ Flights in Pennsylvania, Says Mackenzie

HARRISBURG – The House Government Oversight Committee, chaired by Rep. Ryan Mackenzie (R-Berks/Lehigh), voted today to accept a referral from Speaker of the House Bryan Cutler (R-Lancaster) and House Majority Leader Kerry Benninghoff (R-Centre/Mifflin) to investigate reports of “ghost” flights landing at airports in Pennsylvania that may have contained children who entered the country illegally. The committee also voted to affirm its ability to issue subpoenas over the course of the investigation.
