: Rep. Ryan Mackenzie (R-Berks/Lehigh), majority chairman of the House State Government Subcommittee on Campaign Finance and Elections, will lead a hearing on the topic of Congressional term limits. Establishing term limits for elected members of Congress would require a constitutional amendment, which could be enacted through a constitutional convention called for under Article V of the U.S. Constitution. Recent polls show an overwhelming majority of voters support term limits for U.S. senators and representatives.
: Mackenzie; House State Government Committee Chairman Seth Grove (R-York); other subcommittee members; along with the following testifiers who will take part virtually: Kenn Quinn, U.S. Term Limits northern regional director, and Mike Riley, U.S. Term Limits PA legislative advocate.
: Tuesday, Nov. 9, 9 a.m.
: Room B-31, Main Capitol Building, Harrisburg.
