Veterans Assistance Appointments Available for April, Says Mackenzie
MACUNGIE – Rep. Ryan Mackenzie (R-Lehigh) announces veterans assistance appointments are currently available on Friday, April 14, between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. in his Lower Macungie Township office located at the Lower Macungie Township Administration Building, 3402 Brookside Road. Mackenzie offers this free service on the second Friday of each month.

Veterans or their dependents can schedule an in-person meeting with an American Legion veterans service officer to discuss issues and have questions answered about benefits and programs for which they may be eligible. Veterans do not need to be an American Legion member to receive these free services.

Veterans or their dependents who are interested in meeting with the service officer should call Mackenzie’s office at 610-965-9933 or 833-933-3675 (toll-free) to schedule an appointment.

Mackenzie’s office also serves as a drop-off location for old or unused American flags which will then be disposed of properly and with respect. Residents should look for the flag drop-off box in the main foyer of the office, which is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday (except holidays).
